Bel Canto Roles

Norman's most performed bel canto role is Pollione in Bellini's Norma. He first sang the role alongside Cecilia Bartoli in the Salzburg Festival revival in Paris, then later at the Baden Baden Festspielhaus in Germany. Other productions include two revivals in Stuttgart, as well as his most recent appearance in 2024 in Strasbourg alongside Karine Deshayes. Other bel canto roles Norman has interpreted include Maria Stuarda, Elisabetta Regina D'Ihgelterra, and....Norman also enjoyed interpreting Nemorino in Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore in both Kansas City and Hamburg State Opera.
