“I have spent most of my life chasing sound. I can almost always hear the sound I want to make, even when I do not fully reach it. That pursuit is part of what makes singing meaningful to me. As a tenor, I am drawn not only to beauty of sound, but to truth within it. Sometimes that truth is radiant, and sometimes it is raw. That is why I believe opera has a unique power: at its best, it reveals something essential about human life and, through that, something of the divine. My work is grounded in tradition, excellence, service, and collaboration. I want the music I make to move people, draw them together, and give voice to something larger than any one of us.”
